I was able to get this to work. Win 10 v1903 x64. Don't use the included Disc 2 crack, it is corrupt. Search online for another AA.exe crack.

Same 'infogrames' error with virtual 32bit windows xp (with original .exe). Don't think its a 32/64 bit issue. The cracked .exe doesn't work either.

I just tried running this on Win XP and I get the same error: please insert the infogrames startup disc. There is something missing from the files that the program is looking for, possibly a hidden file or CD disk partition. Not sure....

If you have windows 10 x64 then the game probably won't run on your system. The problem is the program is looking for 32 bit dynamic link libraries that need to exist on the CD. If you run a virtual windows xp environment you can play the game.

Second: have tried many different approaches to get this game to play on windows 10. Ultimately I am having same problem as the others. Game will not load even with disc mounted.

I could not get the game to run on Windows 10. Got it all installed and mounted the Play CD (CD2) to a virtual drive and a box pops up that has a title of Scrabble Online and says Please Insert the INFROGAMES STARTUP DISC. Any ideas? Crack app didn't work either...

Zip file cleaned and safe now, NoCD in the crack folder of ISO CD 2 is not flagged by VirusTotal. Thanks Dustin.

I love this game, and have it running on WIndows 10...problem is, it cannot save the game. At the end of every round it gives an error saying it was unable to save the game, and if I manually go to Preferences - Load/Save, I get an error when trying to save. Anyone have a fix for that?

To everyone who is having trouble running the game- I have had no problem running this in Windows 10 Pro 64-bit by using the program DAEMON Tools Lite, which is freeware. You are downloading an .iso file, so just mount it on a virtual drive in DAEMON Tools and it will load the program onto the hard drive and when you go to play it just mount the .iso file again. It won't ask for a disk since the .iso file suffices and it also ran, for me, without having to mess with any compatibility settings or screen resolution settings, which I admit was a surprise. Maybe this is helpful?

I got this running on Windows 10 by doing the following.
Right click on the axis & Allies application file.
Go to the compatibility sub tab.
Click 'Run this program in compatibility mode for:' box
On the drop down I used Windows 98 / Windows ME.
Underneath it in the settings section, I ticked 'Run in 640 x 480 screen resolution'
I also ticked 'Diable full-screen optiminsations'
That seemed to work for me.

Game works great for a few weeks, then it opens the myabandonware webpage and says it can't run the game because it can't find the disk. after uninstalling and redownloading the process repeats itself.
