Old Town Stillwater 12'
Does anyone know about this canoe. I cannot find one within 300 miles and I know nothing about canoes.
It looks like it would be good as a solo or 2 person, it is made of fiberglass, weights 56# and is 41' wide with a load limit of 750#.
This canoe would be used on smaller slow moving creeks and streams in South Mississippi, maybe poled up stream and float down stream. I don't plan to use it for any open water long distance paddling.
Thanks for any information.

Surprised the Old Town Hunter hasn't been reviewed here before. It's been out of production for a long time and probably didn't sell in big numbers but it was a fine boat. They do show up from time to time on Craigslist. I bought mine in 1987 and paddled it for about 15 years. Regret to this day selling it and would love to have another.
